Folder Layout Reference: Click here to download
There are four different sub-folders where files should be entered in the following format for the developer:
Fonts must be web friendly – this means at the least we need to have file types WOFF and WOFF2; the current standard for web friendly fonts. If possible, we would want the following files as well: SVG, EOT, TTF, OTF.
All graphics should be entered into this folder including stock imagery, icons, and more. If possible, SVG files are always the best for web as they are small in filesize, scale to any size, and show the best on retina displays. Being mindful of image size is very important as large images can cost bandwidth and slow down load times.
Mocks should be sent over in .jpg format for simple viewing of what the mockup looks like. If mobile mocks are available, they should be put in a separate folder under “Mobile”.
PSDs should be sent over with a .txt file for anything within the PSD that is outside of the norm and may require explanation. If mobile mocks are available, they should be put in a separate folder under “Mobile”.
